Adoption is stressful enough and I'm hoping that this blog will help keep the humor alive in this stressful adoption process.

Excellent graphic! Congrats on scaling the first mountain!
You might be surprised. I know I was shocked to find my I-171 sent to me about a week after the received my home study. I had submitted all the other paper work already, though.
You are HILARIOUS! and yes, I am in the same boat as you. I got my passport 2 weeks ago, and my home study was submitted last week. USCIS has had my homestudy now for 6 days. Not that I'm counting or anything--I want to call and offer the ONE LADY WHO PROCESS THEM ALL lunch, or a spa weekend, or anything, that will help her process MINE. It's really all about me at this point.
Did you create these graphics? You are beyond funny.
We are waiting to travel to Kaz.
I hand delivered all my pretty notarized and apostilled documents to my agency yesterday so they can start translating them. My case worker is from Ubekistan! Small world. so, we wait together for the elusive I-171H. I celebrated dropping off all my other fancy documents by writing a huge check to my agency, then going to a toy store and buying fun new toys for Baby Kaz. Now, that was fun. :)
Hilarious!
